Consumer Complaint Redressal Procedure for Telecom Complaints
There are plenty of consumers in India who use cellular, telephone or internet services in India but are not fully aware of the customer complaint redressal procedure laid out by government of India cell - TRAI. Telecom Regulatory Authority of India(TRAI) is a government body just like IRDA to oversee telecom regulations in India for the benefit of consumers.
In the interest of consumers TRAI has laid down complaint redressal procedure that needs to be mandatorily followed by all the telecom companies in India like Airtel, Reliance, Tata Indicom etc. So if you don't follow this specified procedure for complaint redressal, most likely your complaint will not be heard or even replied to by your company. If you want to go to Consumer Court for such issues, make sure that you follow this procedure first.
There are many times we find that telecom consumers break their head on some complaint or the other and end up being very frustrated with their service provider company since the company did not heed to their complaints. In most of the cases the consumer hasn't followed the TRAI's legal procedure for redressal of the complaint. Also we should know that in large organizations like Airtel, Reliance or BSNL it is really difficult to allow customers to follow arbitrary complaint redressal procedures so you shouldn't simply call their office and let them know of your complaint. In this, the correct procedure will be to contact their all India customer care help line and get a docket number for your complaint.
Here we list the proper procedure to get your complaint resolved for telecom related issues.
- First visit the company site and find the proper complaint procedure. Look for "Manual of Practice". You can see a sample Airtel's Manual of Practice here. Please don't use it and rather look for updated copy of it in the company site. In this sample manual you can find the proper complaints/grievances procedure as specified by Airtel.
- Next step is to call all India customer care number and register your complaint. You must obtain a complaint or docket number. Also you'll be asked to wait for its resolution taking couple of days to 2 weeks of time. However as per TRAI regulation it should not take that much of time but give the company chance to do its best to resolve your complaint.
- If you are not satisfied then send the complaint to Nodal Officer in your circle. This list is available in the company website. It should not take more than 10 days to redress your complaint.
- If you are still not satisfied then go to Appellate Authority in your circle, the contact details of which are also mentioned in the company website.
- If still you are not satisfied then nothing much you can do. Try registring your complaint in National Consumer Helpline. You also have an option to pursue your case further in your local Consumer Court.
Note: There is a time period as specified in "Manual of Practice" - that is, for example you can't go to Appellate Authority 1 year after filing your complaint to Nodal Officer. There is usually 3 month time limit for filing complaint next level. Keep copies of your complaints to Nodal officer and Appellate Authority.

I did that recharge from a dealer.It was by this afternoon the entire balance of abour Re250 got used up with a 0 balance.

i k.ravikanth using the mobile number-9885017111, from last one year,before it is on company name PRITHVI GLOBAL LOGISTICS PVT LTD using the number from last 3years, as iam the employee of above mentiond company,now company has given the above number to me, i had subbmited the NOC letter from company also, we have given for transfer of ownership documents to mr.praveen at vodafone off at begumpet and his number is-9052982925 in the month of august-2014,and after 8 months of follow up,they are suspended my mobile number and allocated to another customer at tirupathi by (vodafone store),while the number under prosess of transfer of ownership,they had done a blender mistake,after suspending also the numberhas to keep for 60days for previus customer, but with in the span of 3days only, this was done,i had all follow up mails copies and i had visited at vodafone begumpet several times, i met mr.pavan(nodal manager)and his mobile number is 9885002002, he had given assurance, he ill difently get my number back,but he simply saying that the present customer is not agree to givethe number back,i had lost lot of bussness with this, i had given this number for my purpose,they also issued the sim on 09 feb-2015,and my services are barred from 12 feb-2015,iam holding the sim number 8991130340 10850673 12 14 9,how should they allocate my number to another customer,i wntmynumber back that"s it, if not i will highlight the issue thru media and press,one small sim wil a political issue in the history
Mobile Fraud complaint
Need your urgent help on the issue as my fraud is not about having a theft done sophistically but has destroy confidence in today's old man trying to cope up with today's generation.
My father who is retired Gazetted officer from RRCAT Indore has SBI account in RRCAT bgranch. He is currently staying in Mirzapur U.P. On 19th April he got call from no. 08051627276. The person claimed that he is from RBI and my father account has been blocked. He asked ATM no. My dad denied but after speaking for 1 hour he any how convinced him. He asked OTP also and did mobile recharge of Rs 18000 from mobikvik website. When we try to reach that number it was switched off. On searching on net we found that no. is from Bihar/Jharkhand. He tried contacting my dad next day as well. He went to local police station (Kachchwa) bazar for filing FIR but they said a/c is in Indore so you cannot file FIR in Mirapur. Also they behaved badly and were not at all cooperative. Below are detaiils:

as per the website of airtel mobile , i saw a plan for rs 159 .i tried to recharge for the amount on online but the transaction was failed several times..i contacted the customer care and the reply is not satisfactory..i tried to recharge for three days but it was failed..so they are trying to cheat people with a fake plan in the website. i also tried to recharge through my mobikwik accound, but so far not recharged and rs 159 was deducted from my account

On 13.3.15 I have sent the following reply to the Reliance customer care & Netconnet. From the customer care an executive have given me reply and stated that the connection has been terminated.
On 14.4.15: An email legal notice has sent mentioning only account number & data card number and again asking me to pay the same amount of Rs.1,713/- for which I have already clarified through following letter. Immediately I have replied only attach the following matter to email id which I received from.
Is it sufficient or I have to reply it through a lawyer. So far i have not any reply from them.

With reference to the above subject matter, your bill for Rs.1,713/- is not acceptable since I have clearly clarified that the connection was under safe custody till 21st Jan,15. Without informing the activation of the connection and put it in active mode by yourself. It is your responsibility to inform the customer about the expiry of safe custody period well in advance. I have not received any such kind of information from you. Surprisingly, Nov’-Dec’14 monthly bill raised for Rs.643/- after deducting Rs.31/- from advance. In the month of Sept-Oct’14 bill that the advance amount Rs.378/- paid for safe custody was shown. In Oct-Nov’14 you have charged Rs.347/- and it has taken from the Advance amount and Shown bal.Rs.31/-. Immediately I have informed the same to your Customer care. Even though, you have ignored my mail and raised bill for Rs.643/-. Again the same matter brought to your customer care notice. I have discussed this matter with one of your executive on 4th December and she has accepted to continue in safe custody till 21st Jan, 15. The next day i.e.5.12.14 the executive of Amber pet Reliance stores sent a mail to you from his email id and confirmed that the connection under safe custody. Again in the Dec-Jan’15 monthly bill raised for Rs.674/- and Jan’15 to Feb5th 2015 bill is for Rs.175/-. Since Oct’14 to till date I have sent mails to you and requested to you go through all of them. I have received standard mails without solving the issue and generated bills at your will continuously. Instead solving the issue, started harassment by sending SMS and phone calls for payment. During this entire period I humbly requested you to look into the matter and solve it as early as possible. In return what you have done simply passed the days by sending standard mails and put me in waiting till bill date and added bills nicely. That means you have wasted not only my valued time but also yours. Many a time I have informed you if unable to solve the issue disconnect the connection. Finally, I have taken decision to disconnect the connection on 5.2.15. Actually I supposed to pay only Rs.175/- as my connection under safe custody till 21st Jan, 15. Now, to collect correct payment, you have to send a fresh final bill after making all the necessary adjustments mentioned as below:
1. Monthly payment for the period of 22.12.14to21.01.15 = Rs.674.00
(Because of your adamant behavior I have had to use the Data card)
2. Payment for the period of 22.01.15 to 05.02.15 = Rs.175.00
Rs.849.00
3. Less: Balance amount after adjusted from Adv. Rs.154.00Total areas are to be paid: = Rs.695.00
Hope you‘ll do the needful and confirm the same by return mail.
But in return they have sent a legal notice without solving the problem created by themselves.
I request you to take it as a complaint and solve it.

change in plan
I bought a MTS Data card in august 2014 because the unlimited plan of the company was good. I paid Rs.1500 for the dongle.
Now, within 6 months they have changed the plan and now enforcing the same on me. This plan is absolutely baseless.
My plan was unlimited usage and now they have fixed 30GB and height is that 15GB during daytime and 15GB during night time. who is going to sit through nights and consume 15GB. Technically they are forcing a plan from unlimited to 15GB.
the above is not justifiable by the company. upon taking up the matter with them,they have simply refused any reversal of plan.

Deactivated Airtel SIM for senior citizen above the age of 74

I am jai Srinivas, My mother ( Age 74 Years ) had Airtel Cell with number 8978787864 which she was using for last 6 years, earlier it was from airtel postpaid and shifted to Tata docomo postpaid and again shifted to Airtel prepaid till 1.6 months years it working fine, all of a sudden she has received SMS to submit documentations ( Address details etc.) and that to be submit in 2 days and she is old women, ( At least 15 days’ notice should be given or some airtel person should inform by phone in advance before disconnecting the service) and number which is present does not work where to submit the documentations and even recent 121 IVR does to take customer executive she was not able submit in 1 week of time, later they are saying that the number is deactivated for not providing the info and Airtel, even the cell had Rs.68.00 balance and that could not be forwarded they suggested to go for postpaid to get the same number paying Rs.300.00 and even the old balance will be not added, even after 2 days the number is not activated,my mother is using this SIM since 7 years,all contacts are known by this number and lot of other transactions are done by this number for Gas connections, it seems that airtel is playing good trick to loot money from prepaid customers, even we are paying taxes, ( Even the Local Airtel Outlet were not helping my mother, instead telling her to go to Airtel Head Office in begumpet for any doubts )
Well they gave another option is to wait till 90 days to get the old number if we lucky and they are not sure we will be get the same number, or 2nd option is go for number paying 50/- and take new number it looking so bad with airtel simple looting money from senior citizen who are genuine people paying money for usage, only thing they are still connected because it has good network, hope some other network comes in and airtel should drop very badly

My idea no is 8120823711. Data not given by idea , i have took an idea sim of 498/- in which i have to receive 1gb internet for the first month and second month 750 mb and third month 750 mb but i have not received 750 mb for the last month after lots of complaint i have received data but the same got exhausted on the third day however i have not used the entire data . The idea customer care is saying that data is not avialable.
unethical and unfair procedures of IDEA
My IDEA #9087854679 was recharged with 124 INR on 8/4/2015 for 1GB 3G Data.As on 12/4/2015 230+ MB Data was available. Fearing I'd run out of data balance quickly, I recharged again with INR124 for another 1GB 3G Data hoping that the unused data (from the previous recharge)
Will be carried forward. Holy GOD,it wasn't. Shocked,I contacted the Customer support centre only to get more shock as I was told that the unused data'd expire upon fresh recharge..
Does it make any sense? Definitely not to me..Remember, the data that got lapsed wasn't free but paid one.How come it can be written-off? What if I need 3GB Data for a particular activity continuously!? Do I have to recharge only after the existing data fully used? Or the simultaneous recharges'd give me only one GB Data ,not 3GB and the amounts for the first two recharges become void even before a bit of them used? If IDEA has an idea about rationing Data to a connection
Why should they take the money and not providing the service meant for it? They shan't accept the recharge until the existing account balance fully used.What kind of practice is this to a corporate like IDEA? Not going to leave it at any cost..I want justice.. My Internet My Interest My Money...

Unable to call wife's airtel number
From my airtel number 9945011225 I am unable to make calls to my wife's airtel number XXXXXX9764 and I am getting the message that "this number is not valid". But if I call my wife's number from other mobile or landline it is going fine and she is able to call me or other numbers without any problem. From last two days I have been trying to tell the same to airtel customer care and I get to hear every time "sir your handset or your wife's handset has problem". But I told them even if I am changing the handset for both of us, the problem exists. Also when my wife is trying to contact airtel, the customer care executive is saying all services are working fine from our end and there could be an issue with the number which is trying to call you. Similarly when I talk to the executive they also the same - all services are working fine from our end and there could be an issue with the number which you are trying to call. This is very disturbing that airtel is least bothered what customer is facing. After discussing with customer care I had to deactivate the "1 Local A2A Mobile FnF Free@Rs.99" intended for my wife's number, so that I could verify whether this could be the problem. Guess what I was able to call her and so I thought it worked fine. Then I again activated the same service and to my surprise I found that I am getting the same message that this number is not valid. Please look into this matter urgently with utmost priority.
Complaint of pathetic Broad band service by BSNL for last 2 mont

Airtel Fraud case
I am an Airtel mobile user and my mobile number is +919650146927. Airtel made a deduction of 461 rupees from my account mentioning that it was deducted due to 3G data usage. This is fake statement due to following reasons.
a) I got a SMS at 3:53PM that my data usage has been completed and I switched off the 3G at that point of time. Although as per customer care, my data pack was completed at 10:30 AM only and they informed me 6 hours later when my balance went to 4 rupees from 465. That's their fault and they can't ask User to pay for their mistakes.
b) I was in meeting throughout the day and was not using data at all. As per my phone settings, Only whatsapp and hipchat apps are allowed to use 3G in background. These apps are also not allowed to fetch pictures/videos over 3G. Hence normal messages cant go over 3-4 MB in 6 hours.
As per above information, I am not using 3G at all and Airtel also failed to inform me on time for which they cant deduct 461 rupees from my account. It looks like there is some problem with their technical system or some people are making fraud at their end.
Kindly take necessary action.

IDEA Boardband Bill generation before bill cycle isnot completed

We had taken IDEA Broadband net connection - 060013014447 in month of Dec 24 with Advanced payment Rs 1500 with out any installation charges,at time of Executive told me after 3 months completed after that 4th month bill come in after completed,today we received 4th month bill before.month is completed,i thinking bill will come month end,called to customer care.they told me they generated bill before and last date 15/03/2015. and told to me if amount not paid they disable net connection,i asked to them i was taken postpaid why before i will pay,they told to me Pre bill postpaid connection and also told there is no issues from all customers why you are not pay before. i asked them my connection prepaid or postpaid,they postpaid connection.
i told them if before i paying that is prepaid why you are not saying postpaid and asked my to change in bills prepaid and Advertisements,then i will pay definitely.
i told them i will give complaint to TRAI if not change,they don't react for that

Wrong bill generated & rude behavior of customer care Executive
Hello,
I am Hansraj Rajora Phone No: 8826891431. I get wrong AIRTEL bill for this month (26-Feb to 25-Mar), there is one extra service (value added service: Rs:125/-) which is charged on my bill which I haven't activated and used.
Regarding this issue, i called your customer care executive which respond very rudely to my call. He straight away said that "Money will not get revert back to you and make any complaint to anyone regarding my tone I don't care". His Name is Alok and Interaction number is 4858966.
I get really pissed off with this, is this the way they talk to customers. And i didn't get any information regarding my deduction(value added service: Rs:125/-), that it will going to revert back to me or what? I didn't used that service and not activated it from my end. If I activated that service from my end then there must be an Activation message or something from your end as an acknowledgement.
I don't know what to do next, whom to call and where to go. please help me in this Fraud.

Dear Sirs,
I am using the Mobile No. 09355502052 of your network since long , from last one month the network of my mobile has become very weak specially in my area, and my voice does not passes to other party, while the voice of second party to whom I am talking out remains completely audible. I had to shout almost even though my voice does not pass to other party, neither the SMS are going. I have made several complaints on customer care, every time the answer given by the customer care executive is that my complaint is in process and the same will be resolved by the earliest possible. They say that the network in my area is feeble and my complaint has been given to technical department for resolution, but to my utmost surprise that my genuine complaint is still pending. Showing interest in Reliance Communication I have chosen 16999/- unlimited plan, and as such I do not have the option to go with some other network.
I hope you will take some prompt decision and resolve my complaint by the earliest possible.

I have received my bill with Rs. 107231/- which is very high , all charges are for internet international roaming for few hours, which is not bearable . I am 3 year old customer with track record of payments and billing which comes in between 1000 - 1500 not more than that . I earn salary of Rs. 20000/- per month , i have used only internet for some time when i was in Dubai for business purpose, how come the bill this much please give clarification, when i went for international calling activation to tata gallery two or three days prior to trip, it should be explained clearly how to use international roaming calls and internet usage which was not given.
If India Planning to grow with economy and telecom companies are charging this much for use of internet for few minutes for business purpose ,how India will grow with their future plans. We plan for higher as exports from India , this way how exporter will plan for business trip and calls and usage of internet for business purpose.
Request you to reverse the 98000/- charges charged for international internet roaming and activate my phone. I am having all work on mobile where as my mobile is off from last 11 plus days, kindly activate my phone and reverse the charges at the earliest to continue with the services , my work is held stop , my all work is on phone. I had loss of Rs. 2 lacs till now who will bear this loss , tata will loose customer and regular business income for lifetime and with negative image on customers. We trust on TATA rather than Reliance becoz TATA is brand, TATA is trust for us.

I am using Vodafone for long time.
Last month bill i am been charges for acess of data usage.
As per policy i should be send a text once i exceed my data limit.
Which was not done.
Vodafone is asking me to pay the bill which is not valid if i had received the alert massage i could have activated a booster or used wifi.

Disappointed on Airtel
I want to change my number to Airtel. I applied for PORt from tata docomo on 21-02-2015.
In Airtel outlet Velacherry Chennai, they dint give Airtel prepaid card, so i applied for Airtel Postpaid.
But after 2 days they said there is some error while giving the UPC pin so i have to regenrate it after the UPC expiry, its expire date was 08-03-2015.
On 09-03-2015 i again regenerated, this time i changed my address. 3 days later when i called they said that, the new address given was out of service area
So that they could provide me a Prepaid sim, i again went airtel outlet (Velachery) on 13-03-2015, submitted all the proves again. On 24-03-2015 the current UPC code got expired.
I called Tata docomo they said they have accepted the request nothing pending from their side, when i called airtel they are saying that there is no documents been submitted for my number from the airtel Outlet.
I tried the airtel Outlet velachery they dint pick the call. Very poor customer service.
Its been more than a month, Very much disappointed on airtel.
suffering from reliance Internet since two and half months
I had got a 90 days internet pack from reliance in 5-Jan-2015, which is either not connecting or disconnecting frequently. I complained to reliance about this. (SR No. 231081101). I got a response from reliance that your problem has been resolved. Interestingly my internet came only for one day and then gave problem as before.
I called up reliance helpline, no help from them. Wrote my problems through emails and submitted through their web interface. Four days back I got a response that "We have registered your complaint with service request ID: 231207293 on 17/03/15 and it will be resolved within 3 working days from the date of complaint registered."
It is sad to see that 3 days have been passed and nothing has been resolved yet. I have suffered for two and half months which is much greater loss than the the money paid for the internet. It is sad to see that big companies like reliance are living by exploiting small and poor customers like us.
Airtel stealing on sake of selling their dongle
Very Good Morning to you all, This mail is regarding my complaint issue to Air tell Wifi Dongle Connection on number 88979504668897950466. During Purchase of your Airtel Dongle it was clearly informed that that dongle can be free and unlocked anytime during my request. Also as your prior confirmation by your associate only it was proved that it can unlocked. Don't try to hide the truth behind your greediness, as per TRAI and Government guidelines only "none communication device like Mobile/Dongle or communication media if purchased by customer cannot be locked till consumer really interested for doing so." There is no privileges for Mobile operator to use it for own good sake. Than why you are creating your own rule if you can lock (by OEM supplier) you can unlock also don't try to fool consumers, this our own citizen of India. What you try to proof by fooling our own nation people that you are very clever and can play, trick and conspire with your own citizen people emotion. Such a shame on you all This Airtel Operator have cheated me badly on the name of providing me new dongle and confirmed 6gb will be free while I will purchase a new dongle of Rs 2000/ Same I purchased it on 18th Feb-2015 and they said it need to activate my 6gb while initiating it portal airtellive/offers There I hardly used 1 day the complete 6gb went in drain/data all used, Airtel people said I have consumed 6gb withing a day.and I need to pay more to use Airtel Company is cheating on name giving 6gb but reality they are misguiding customer via providing only 2 gb maximum and after these they show that I have used all 6 gb. These trick they are using only for selling Airtel Wifi dongle. In my case also, after my 2gb usage they disconnected my Airtel wifi connection and showed I have used all. Atlast I executed mail to their nodal and appellate Authority but till now I didnt have response from their end. They arent acknowledging my mail even. So my pledge request, please look into this crucial and harmfull matter since customer also getting cheated on name of 6gb where truth Airtel is only giving 2gb on name of 6gb Mine great warm regards to you all. i took 2 numbers from idea (7836004443 and 7836004442 )in month of August 2014 and the executive came to my office to give me those numbers but those numbers didnt get started because of verification.
one number worked for 10 days again it got stopped because of verifiaction problem .
three times verification done and
both these numbers was taken for official purpose .
didnt recieve any bill for that time .and i never used these numbers because it never got activated.
all of sudden i started getting calls from month of novemeber 2014 and they started threaten me for court and all to make payments and everytime i asked for bill but they didnt send me .
i spoke to the executive(mr krishan mathur )who gave me the numbers told him entire thing and even told them to block my numbers because i am not using them .
because i never used those numbers as it never got activated, he told me no problem ill look into it.
January 2015 i got call from one nice lady from idea customer care she told me you make payment of 1200 immediately before 5 pm your account will get setlled and you wont get any calls or no one will bother you .
to my surprise in february 2015 i see first time bill on my mail and now i was charged for 2700 for both these numbers .
i started mailing and speaking to idea complaint department and customer service all kept on saying they will look into it and will sort out things and shared same details with them and spoke to mr prasad and jai told them i am not using these services please close my numbers.
in march 2015 i get another bill with increased amount and when i write to them i get reply my complaint is closed because they dont see anything in system .
this is harrasment they conning me since december till now i am been constantly telling them i am not using these numbers please close and block these numbers still my bills are generated .
this is fraud please if you can help me with this

sir , This complain against the mis-service provided by the Reliance prepaid mobile number against (8252704601) and in this number I had recharged 600 RS. by 25.01.2015 and got 6.5 GB Highspeed 3G DATA, 90 days;but again when I have done on 16.03.2015 the same recharge then I didn't get any data balance.
So I made a call to 198 and they let me know that it was FRC recharge so I wouldn't get any balance. What a company commitment ,in january it was same but in March it has changed. ok,but I got the same sms by Reliance that I got 6.5 GB Highspeed 3G DATA, 90 days;by 16.03.2015.
so how the executive from ur company let me know that do it by 601 Rs. then I would get data balance.

Complaint Against Airtel
I have been calling Airtel customer services from past 4 days to cancel one of the airtel number that I have. Each time I call, the say that their application is down they cannot transfer the call to the cancellation department. This is always the standard answer that I get from the customer service representation. When I asked them to connect my call to the supervisor, I got a reluctant response from the floor supervisor that they cannot do anything other than take a service request which would take 10 days to resolve. Only when their applications are up, they would be able to raise a Service request. In that case why do they have to lie to us telling that the applications are down. They are not concerned about what customer is facing ! Their intension to drag this till the billing date and to the next cycle.When they say it is very easy to get a connection then why do they trouble us so much for closing a connection.
I request you to please help me resolve this issue at the earliest.
Airtel Mobile#9972711447 - Deactivation
I was requesting Airtel for more than 8mothns to disconnect my 3G post paid connection as I was not using it but they have not disconnected and said that they are going to suspend the account for 6months and later it will be automatically convert to prepaid and then you can disconnect. I have not been charged for 6months but after 6months its not converted to prepaid and I am receiving minimum bill for last two months, I had send couple of mails but no response and called customer care every time they say server is down and they are going to call me back but I never get a call and they don't even forward that call to next level to escalate further. I really fed up with Airtel and not sure how do I can disconnect with Airtel.

MTS data card - poor customer service
Poor customer service . I called them thrice and mailed once for connection cancellation , every time they assured for a call back but they did not maintain their promise .
It takes very long time to connect with customer care. A week before the bill due date they start calling twice a day to remind about the bill payment and ask to pay asap. What I do not understand here why the hell we need to pay the bill ASAP before the due date . If delayed any way they are going to apply fine on the next bill then why they cannot stop with just reminding the customer through message .
MTS deducting money without any reason
I have maintained a MTS number 8926504998 for the last few years. The company has started deducting money from this pre-paid number without notice for the last 6 months. I have drawn the notice of its customer care several times and lodged complaints. I did not subscribe for the VAS for which it had deducted money. Last time, it had also returned the money it had deducted. But again on 10th March, it had deducted Rs. 66.61 within a few minutes of my recharge of Rs. 70. This is gross cheating. MTS has reduced itself to a Mass Cheating Service (MCS). Customers be aware of this company and refrain from using its service.

Phone not working and nobody to attend
My reliance landline (033 30525256) is not working for over last 8 days. Repeated complaints have fetched no results and nobody seems to be bothered. Earlier also this has happened and I have asked them for waiver of rental as I am in high rental plan, but they simply do not want to listen to anything. This time I will not pay any bill unless waiver is given to me. Am also thinking of surrendering the line and go in for new connection of some other company.

Airtel bad service and response
Hi,
Airtel is not providing the service properly, yesterday around 1500 hrs I got new data SIM card and executive told me by next day afternoon before 24 hrs it will be activated. Today I got a call from Airtel around 1745 hrs stating by next half hour my SIM will be activated. But till now it's not activated when I complained to Airtel now they are saying it will take 72 hrs for activation. When I said I want to speak to your duty supervisor they said there is no supervisor or manager in night. This is the response we are getting.
Even they have not given any slip for the cash they have taken.
Pls help me and take strict action against Airtel.

Cheating by Airtel
Sir,
I was using Airtel no. 9895234432 for the last 10 years. Due to the mistake of Airtel officials there was a mistake in one of my bill. It became a dispute and they disconnected my no. Later the company accepted that it was their mistake and agree to activate the account if I pay Rs. 3214 and I paid the money but they cheated me by not activating the account. I was in constant touch with the Airtel officials and they agreed to resolve the issue immediately but it didn't happened yet. Now I understand that they have allocated the same number to someone yesterday and has cheated me. All my old friends and many of my customers are having only my old no. I am in insurance field and if in case any of my customers do no get me online on the time of policy maturity, it will affect my reputation. I need my number back and want to take legal action against Airtel for cheating me. Please do the needful.

Please never ever go for VODAFONE . They are big cheaters , They do not have adequate signal.
I had a 3g POST paid connection , where i used to pay monthly bill of 1000 rupees without fail, I had this connection as a backup . When I tried using it regularly I was shocked to see that the signal was hopeless , never used to get connected at all.
When i raised the complaint they pointed me to uninstall software and reinstall , try on different machines , they also tried to reset my account at the backend twice, but none of them solved the problems. They do not have enough confidence in solving technical problems , all they do is trail and errors.
I raised my complaint in the month of march 2014 and now it is Feb 26th 2015 , and my problems are still present , I raised a cancellation, even now have never sent me any kind of acknowledgement for this.
The issue lies with vodafone for several months and they do not bother to solve your problems .
They are just bothered about bill payments.
My sincere advice and request to people is that, do not encourage your family, friends and your peers to use Vodafone ever.
Dont waste your time and hard earned money to such pathetic Providers.

If you are unable to resolve this complaint within 2 working days then on 3rd day we will surrender all the 19 corporate connection of Airtel and take the new 19 connections of Reliance Network. This is last reminder to you from our end.

Airtel deducted unnecessary charges from balance
Sir,
My Name is Alok yadav.i am using airtel network.My number is 7389241616.two times they were deducted my balance 30 rs and 30 rs.they activate any service(Service Name-MEET N GREET) which i don't want and deduct balance for those service.
when i call on 198 and talk to their executive then he was told me this service activate during net browsing then i i told him give me site information where this service activated then he told me we don't know about site then i again ask if this service or product is your then you should know about it and give proper information to the customers so next time customer aware for this unnecessary charges and services but he was unable to guide me and apart from this i told him give me my balance back then he denied.
I told him i will complain against airtel in trai and consumer forum then he say you can do it.
Sir its humble request please do some appropriate action against Airtel so customer will not suffer from this situation. their company turnover in million dollar and we are just common people for this unnecessary charges will affect our pocket and also feel about rights.

Mental Harassment & Threatening
My name is Manoj Shetty have been Airtel prepaid Customer for several years, i have never used other connection except Airtel. But my recent bad experience from them really hurts me.
One day i received a call from lady customer executive for activation of postpaid plan of Rs.299/-and because i felt plan feasible to me i activated that.
My regular billing was upto 650/- to 700/- Rs. Suddenly i received a bill of Rs.4,000/- (Approx) they activated International Roaming offer on my number, I dont even know what actually that offer is and i didnt pay that bill although they stopped my incoming and outgoing calls. After that it got resolved because it was activated from their end and they apologized for the same.
Later Few months back i.e almost 6 to 8 months back i got ill because of jaundice. Due to that i was in my room for nearly 2 months i lost my job too. So for 3 months i didnt pay the bill and as expected they stopped all my incoming and outgoing calls. Later they harassed my contacts for non payment of bill.
One day while i was with my friend he received a call from a Airtel lady customer executive i picked the call and i clearly told her that i am jobless now also ill give me 2 months time i will clear the bill and even she agreed too.
One day i when i was attempting for online payment of my bill i couldnt got an error message like(Please enter valid airtel mobile number). Since, then i didnt receive any call and even i didnt take that issue seriously.
Now on 23/02/2015 an Senior Advocate named MR.Rajendra Choudhary from Delhi Patiala Court calls me and tells me that he had sent me legal notice however i didnt receive that and when i agreed for payment of bill He threatened me on non payment of bill he will issue summons and i should atttend for court hearing. I made the decision
to pay the bill but due to some airtel server issue i couldnt pay the bill. For that reason they repeatedly harassed me by calling again and again.
Later on a person accompanying Rajendra Choudhary pretending himself as Lawyer threatens me that he will issue the police warrant for non payment and for that reason i decided not to pay the bill.
What should i do further???
Vodafone for wrong charges in bill for postpaid internet
I have corporate postpaid vodafone plan 249 rs Monthly plan have been using Vodafone services (9885366138) for close to Nine years now and in the past never had to deal with their pathetic customer service. However, for February 2015 month billing, I was shocked to see
that I have been charged an amount of Rs.1,300/- towards Internet Charges saying that I have crossed my limit by 300 MB (I have a 1 GB internet pack).It came as a big shock to me because when I had received the message on31/1/2015 that I have crossed 60% of my internet pack,. I am told I dont have one. This is not the way to treat a loyal customer of 9 years. I was told to raise a compliant request but my request got i dint get any responce to me. I finally went to a Vodafone store and they promised to help but they said i have to pay Rs.1 300/- towards Internet Charges. The worst thing in all this is that Vodafone has a top up for 1 GB for just Rs.150/-. Dont these people know that if I had really used my Internet Charges beyond 1.5 GB, I would have simply taken a top up for paid just Rs.150/- instead of Rs.1300/-? The problem is they dont want to listen to a customer at all. They think they can get their way around the way they want. Nobody will sue them for Rs.1300/- so go ahead and trouble the customer. Its the most lousiest experience I have had ever. Now I dont know what to do as I feel like I have been cheated by Vodafone by charging me Rs.1 300/- extra. Can anyone help please
